Out of Milk, the 1st transatlantic shopping-list application, now available in France
March 22, 2018 – Following its success in the USA and Canada, the app created in 2011, and owned by the Bonial group (Axel Springer) since February 2017, is now available in France on iOS and Android. It has seen Bonial consolidate its ‘drive-to-store’ range of apps, and fulfil its primary aim of being present on mobile devices throughout each stage of the purchase process.
Making consumer lives easier
Since its creation 7 years ago, Out of Milk has become the leading app in its field:
– More than 10 million downloads around the world
– More than 18 million sessions per month
– Rated 5 stars by more than 150,000 users
– Selected by Apple in the “Our favourite new apps” category in the USA, Canada and the UK.
The key to its success ? Simplifying consumers’ lives by revolutionising the tedious task of creating a shopping list on paper. With a completely customisable and collaborative experience, grocery shopping has become faster, more practical, and more economical.
Making POS visits easier
Available on Android and iOS, Out of Milk simplifies the purchase experience and allows users to create, manage and share shopping lists. Users can quickly compose detailed shopping lists by adding or deleting items, while monitoring their shopping basket amount, quantities, offers or relevant coupons. The products may be added manually by scanning their barcode, or by voice recognition.
Out of milk also simplifies the process of sharing lists with children, spouses or friends by mobile device or email. Any modification is then instantaneously synced on everyone’s devices, making the shopping round much easier.
